Some typical guests' reviews:
"Affordable, easy to find hotel with good access to transport links, as it is literally across the road from Kings cross station and underground, yet isolated enough down a side street so as not to be too noisy etc. I would certainly recommend this hotel to any people who are looking for nothing fancy, just an affordable base. It was perfect for my needs, and beat the local travel lodge/travel inns etc hands down on price."
"A clean hotel offering good value for money. I found it very conveniently placed for transport and only about 20 mins walk to the very centre."
"Overall great location and very quiet."
"Overall a great place to stay, just a few steps away from the Kings Cross rail and subway stations with easy access to central London. Great accomodations for the price, nice staff, clean and comfortable."
"It was my first time in London, so I had no idea what to expect. The room was small, but definitely suited my needs. The location was fine; right across the street from the tube station, so it was eay to get around the city. I forgot about the internet access! The 24-hour bar seemed really nicely set up though (With a HUGE television). The staff was extremely polite. The room was cleaned daily and fresh new towels were always provided."
"Very well satisfied. Ideal location for touring London. Would recommend the Crestfield to friends."
"This hotel is exactly what I would expect for such a low price. Excellent location for central London - over the road from Kings X. TV/tea&coffee making facilities/shower with hot water available at all times."
"The hotel is very basic but it is in such a good location next to the underground it more than makes up for it."
"Good services-price relation for London. Suitable location at King Cross near tube, buses and Thameslink trains to Luton and Gatwick. Good bathroom and excelent warm water. Very good and complete continental breakfask included in the price. Good WiFi internet services at the reception and some times at the room. It is a good idea to have all the necessary at the room to prepare tea and coffe."
"The hotel is recommended, most of all because the location (very close to KINGS CROSS tube station) is brilliant, but also because the price is very reasonable for a london hotel - the room is small (as usual), but ok and clean, the bathroom was ok too."
"They give the best value for money we have found."
"Me and my family stayed at Crestfield for three days. It was easy to book on internet and mail with confirmation was sent quickly. Nice welcome and very good service by the people in the reception. Check in went very quick. The rooms were small (but that we already know when we booked). Excellent cleaning. Had no lamps by the beds (wich I think is a must) and no shelfes in the bathroom to put things on. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. Almost everyone of the staff was very friendly and serviceminded. Checkout was easy and fast. Location so near Kings Cross was perfect."
"Nice small hotel, ideal for sightseeing in London. Friendly staff, luggage storage area for before and after the stay."
"Good value for money - the location is convenient, street parking is easy, the room is adequate."
"This is a clean and well kept hotel making travel very easy."
"Added bonuses were the 24 hr bar and outside terrace."
"I found this hotel easy to get to from King Cross and handy for getting in and out of london via the tube. Also I found that the rooms are clean and comfortable and have everything you need."
"Altogether, very good value for money. Everything is very basic, nothing special, but just right for someone just looking for a peaceful, clean place to stay and does not want to spend too much money on accommodation."
